Farnell Newaaaaark?

I met my HR director today! oh my god! I didnt even know he is Mr Carter. Once he stepped into the office, he just walked over to my desk and shook my hands, "Hi, I am G. Carter.... nice to have you on board, blah blah blah.." At that point of time, I nearly fainted.

After the second day of work, I realised the people there are very amiable and helpful. Just the way they treat us temps (a pathetic 3 weeks n they take us as one of them). The company also treat the employees very well! How well I can't say, it's private and confidential.

I just detest answering phone calls. I can't get their accents from all the places. And I can't seem to get the people they want to find, so I will just give up and throw to Sales or Jenny. haha. Evil, when they find out it's me, I'll be dead.
Something that can send my head rolling immediately is the opening of the wrong letter! Of everyone, I had to pick the wrong person's to open wrongly---- Mr Carter. I almost fainted the second time. It was a private and confidential document and I just exposed it.. just like that. I couldnt hide it any longer, so I just let the already frustrated Jenny know. Well, she wasn't happy of course, but she gave me a comforting look and assured me she'd settle it. So off she goes into Mr Carter's office. She stayed in there for a long time, the atmosphere didnt look very right and I knew I was doomed. Then suddenly, out came a burst of laughter.

haha that's Jenny. She can always laugh a problem away.

The day ended with a speech by Mr Salman, the head of our office, to commend the commendable staff. And of course, we stand to benefit too--- some little snacks;)
